If you want a horse to perform in a race or performance event, you
have to train it to do the job well or you don't win. Similarly,
if you intend to provide a valuable service using veterinary infrared thermography
(IRT) for promotion of better veterinary care for animals, you need veterinary infrared training or your service
will be a detriment rather than a blessing to clients. It takes some knowledge of
anatomy and physiology, as well as camera operation, software use, preparation of the patient
and the environment, and horsemanship to name a few of the skills for veterinary infrared training, but when well executed
you are able to provide the quality service that clients deserve. We can provide veterinary infrared training
for one person or a group of people to perform a diagnostic quality IRT
exam.

Once you have mastered the technique of taking
good diagnostic thermal images, the next step is providing accurate
interpretation of those images. In
the case of licensed veterinarians,
some may want learn to do this interpretation themselves while
others will prefer to have them evaluated by another veterinary thermographer.
If you are not a licensed veterinarian, you will need to use an
IRT experienced veterinarian to interpret the images you take. We can help you decide what is best in your individual situation,
either by providing the necessary veterinary infrared training to
interpret veterinary infrared images or by using our
internet
image interpretation service.

We also do not use "recommendations" from former students as we
do not feel that it is their job to spend time convincing you to
take this course instead of building their own individual
businesses. We have been teaching the proper
practice of veterinary medical infrared thermography for more
years than anyone else of whom we are currently aware, and it is
our belief that our reputation amongst the legitimate teachers
in the field is well known. We teach only long established
and proven protocols. We keep classes small and emphasize
quality of education versus hype and showmanship.
There are no franchises nor memberships offered nor required for
entry into this class. Your interested attention to the
material taught is all that we ask; we will do our best to make
it worth your time.
Don't take this class
if you are only looking for
" another easy way to make a quick buck"
as you
will be
disappointed. On the other hand,
we offer the
Definitive
Class
for the
serious student interested in learning Veterinary IRT.

quality thermal images that are suitable for diagnostic use.
Additionally, this session will incorporate opportunities to
present and discuss clinical cases, review critical principles
such as artifact detection, and take a working field trip to a racetrack or other equine
facility, etc. There will be a presentation and demo of
the latest cameras and software that have been designed
specifically for use in horses and other animals; this is a big
step forward for veterinary thermography. Persons who have no previous training /
experience in veterinary infrared thermography should not take
this course until they have taken S1.
